Hubert Zistler

Hubert Zistler

Hubert’s motto is “do what others are talking about”. He is definitely an outddoor freak! He is a cave diving and mixed gas diving instructor and a renowned cave explorer. In his real life he is a Civil Engineer and General Project Manager and has worked worldwide on huge projects such as the Lesotho Highland Water Scheme and the Gotthard Railway Tunnel. He speaks fluent German, Italian, English and some Portuguese. He started kayaking when he was 6 years old. He was born in Southern Germany but since 2003 he has been living in Southern Switzerland. He loves combining kayaking with exploration.

New places, new routes, anything. And the versatility of the TRAK gives him exactly what he needs. The light weight, the possibility to take it anywhere, the toughness, the adaptability of the TRAK are unmatched. When necessary he even hauls down his kayak and gear with ropes to get where he wants to go.

When he needs some time off for himself he takes his TRAK and camping gear and just leaves for multi-day trips on one of the huge alpine lakes or rivers in his area. Hubert is a very passionate guy, full of ideas and easily manages to motivate other people to join his adventures.
