VariTRAK Adjustable Rocker

You used to have to choose between a kayak designed for speed or one that turned easily. But you could never get both in a single kayak. That’s all changed with TRAK.

The Tri-active Performance System™ (TPS) jack in the keel allows you to adjust the rocker of your TRAK, which increases or decreases its maneuverability. And conversely decreases or increases its speed.

Every pull on the keel jack increases the rocker. As the tips start to lift out of the water line, the amount of keel in the water “shortens” making TRAK extremely maneuverable. Ever spun a sea kayak?

TRAK Kayak with Flat Keel

• long water line
• travels in a straight line (tracking)
• paddles very, very fast

TRAK Kayak with Curved Keel

• short water line
• extreme curvature of boat (rocker)
• superior maneuverability
