"I just got back from a 10 day trip with my new Trak kayak. It is a work of genius -- fast, versatile, stable in any kind of seas, a real pleasure to paddle. It will take a year to begin to figure out all this boat can do.  You really have to rethink what you've done before because there never before has been an adjustable boat, and on the fly too. Just amazing."

"My wife and I recently purchased 2 TRAK Kayaks and enrolled in a rescue kayak class.  We showed up about 10 minutes early and the instructor approached us and said "sorry but we don't have enough time for you to assemble your kayaks" and we would have to use one of theirs.  I asked the instructor if he could give me just 10 minutes to get ready and he laughed but agreed also saying that they would have to start without us.  We got to work putting our kayaks together while participants started to show up for the course.  Under 8 minutes later we sat waiting for the class to start AND for the instructor to return who left to get his gear.  When he returned he was shocked to see that we were not only ready but sitting on our hands waiting for the class to start.  He asked.... "what kind of boats are those"......."Ohhh TRAK...... I heard about those.......VERY cool!"

In the course, these boats clearly were more managable in all rescue techniques compared with the rigid design boats there and the sea socks proved to be an incredible asset.  Just one more reason TRAK is on track to be the kayak of choice!"

"Just wanted you to know that the Trak performed really well in the Colorado River!  I have never before whitewater kayaked so I didn't attempt anything more that a class 2+ or 3 rapid but I was with a very experienced guide who has tons of experience in both whitewater and sea kayaks and he too was impressed in how the Trak handled the stretch we were on.  I only had to swim once since I'm not proficient yet in rolling.  BTW my guide has paddled with Ken Whiting and when he saw the pics of Ken on the Ottawa River he was REALLY impressed. He has traveled around the world with his whitewater rig but he said it is getting harder all the time with the airlines.  Now that he's seen what the Trak can do he's very intrigued. He does see this as an evolution in the sport...Finally just in case you can't tell I am falling in love with this boat..."

"As an avid adventure racer, I know that the difference between first and last place depends on the decisions you make. Should I pack two litres of water, or four? Should I take the trail around the mountain to save me energy, or should I bushwack straight up the mountain to gain time? Should I do the climbing section, or take the time penalty and go around? Using a Trak Kayak was definatly the right decision. I changed the rocker for the flat water, and added the curvature to fight the wind and the current, which allowed me to take one paddle stroke to match three, or at times four, of the opponents,’ which gave me a great advantage at the end of the paddle section because I was able to conserve my strength. And at the end of a twelve hour intense race, it comes apart and packs up in less than ten minutes.

“Wow I was impressed and fully concur with your statement that it's hydraulic shape-shifting technology and design transforms kayaking and opens up the opportunity for everyone at whatever skill level to enjoy paddling. This is a boat you can trim to suit individual comfort and skill levels and the conditions that you are paddling in - and its easy and light to transport . . . I love it!”

- Sarah Nicholson, Courtney, British Columbia, Canada

“This boat absolutely rocks with potential as the most impressive first offering in this style of boat in the last twenty years. It is loaded with amazing capabilities, not the least of which is the ability to adjust the rocker profile of the hull from highly curved, to nearly flat, while on the water! You can also adjust the beam curvature from within the cockpit to give the boat amazing potential in quartering and beam wind conditions. Clearly, I'm blown away by the potential of this boat. I encourage you to look into this boat yourself to discover the future of SOF boating. This ain't your Daddy's SOF anymore.”

- Chris Ostlind, Salt Lake City, Utah, United States

“Of course this is the point where you know why I was attracted to the TRAK. Folding kayaks are ugly!! Not the TRAK. It looks like a kayak. The white hull gives an impression of a fiberglass boat at first glance. It tracked very well and felt much the same as a fiberglass kayak. The skin of course is quite rigid. So I went and played in and out of the rocks along the western shore of the lake and buzzed around in full circle.”

- Derrick Mayoleth, Baraboo, Wisconsin, United States

“The kayak arrived yesterday and I just got back from paddling it. It handles great. I'm impressed with how easily it went together. I've assembled and paddled lots of Feathercraft and this is way easier. The VariTRAK performed as I expected it to - quite a difference between cranked up and no rocker.”

- Mark Scriver, Ottawa, Ontario

“What a great weekend! The kayaks were spectacular! My brother was also very impressed. One thing we discovered that helped us and may benefit other less experienced paddlers was the ability to shape the boat to account for being a stronger paddler on one side vs. the other. We experienced both calm and fairly rough conditions and found the boats quite stable.”

- Eric Blakely, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

“I just wanted to let you know that I got the boat. I had no problem setting it up. I LOVED it in the water.”

- Steve Casimiro, Monarch Beach, California, United States

“Wow - what a great kayak! The performance is beyond my expectations. At first I was a little frustrated that I could not turn the boat better. A couple of pumps - and yes it turns on a dime.”

- Mark Bunzel, Anacortes, Washington, United States

“High performance, unrivaled versatility, amazing portability and slick looks are why TRAK represents the evolution of the sea kayak.”

- Ken Whiting, Beachburg, Ontario, Canada

“We were very impressed with the performance on the water after getting familiar with the kayak’s “personality”. Our paddling technique needs work but we were able to get up some good speed while keeping the craft pretty stable. We experimented with the rocker and the lateral VariTRIM. It took a little time to find (feel) the release valve on the jacks through the spray skirt material but once you know where they are it should become second nature. The VariTRIM worked very well as we happily paddled in circles. The craft cut through the water into a head wind at a surprising clip whereas a canoe would have been a struggle to keep on line. The lateral stability out on the water was better than I expected after getting in it at the dock.”

- Beric Evans, Calgary, Alberta, Canada

“I have wanted my own kayak for many years. Finding a place to store the boat and carry it was always an issue. Coming from the outdoor industry I was also was not willing to compromise on performance at all. This new kayak has it all packability, performance… pure perfection. Kayak travel will never be the same.”

- Treya Klassen, Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada

“That was one very sweet paddling experience.  My previous kayak was a Capella, which is a lovely boat but probably too big for me, so I sat up higher in the water - and that made me much more sensitive to wind.  In the TRAK, I was positioned better in the water, and once I had adjusted the boat for the wind, I was able to paddle more efficiently than I ever have before. And the boat is also much easier to get in and out of on shore - it isn't as tall or as tippy as my Capella.  So I was able to launch and beach with relative ease. It was just lovely. I really am happy with the boat, and I think we'll have lots of adventures together.”

- Katherine Hughes, Waukegan, IL, United States

“I've been looking forward to getting a TRAK kayak for months, and the other day mine came to my door. The courier guy looked kind of confused when I told him what was inside. 'They're making them small these days', he said. Chuckle... For my official first run and second try at assembly, I decided to put it together without the manual. I'm sure I assembled it in close to 10 minutes and took it apart in about seven. And I hauled it down to the river in the back of my wee Suzuki Sidekick. Nice. In the water, it was a whole lot of fun playing around with the rocker. It cut through against the currents when flat, and felt like a cork with the rocker up. What a pleasant experience. Can't wait to take it on a multi-day trip.
