TRAK has been manufacturing portable performance kayaks since 2006 in service of our mission; building awesome kayaks that transform paddling adventures. Curious about what inspires this?
From the beginning, this venture was launched and developed to provide the most amazing series of adventures possible. From the inventors’ dream through to entrepreneurial inspiration, and ultimately to our customers and TRAK owners, the experience is the same. We love adventure.
Our Philosophy
Let’s talk about water. It’s a very powerful element in the Earth, Water, Air, and Fire root elements that ancient Greek scientists and philosophers professed and that were revered long before that in ancient Indigenous cultures. The vast majority of the human body is made up of water. It is an essential part of human health on levels that we are just beginning to understand.

With family there’s no real distance that separates. We are all related in a family, whether we’re in the next room or in our case, 11,000 km (7,000 miles) away! That’s the distance between TRAK HQ in Airdrie, Alberta, in Canadian foothills and the coastal town of Mariveles, Bataan, Philippines. There’s a lot more open water over there and so fitting, because that’s the side of the family that builds our kayaks.
